James Blake @ The Fillmore 2/22

British singer, song writer, and producer James Blake recently announced a North American tour set to begin next spring. The tour will stop in Philadelphia when Blake hits the Fillmore on February 22nd of next year. The show is an all ages event and will begin at 8:30 PM. So far this year, Blake has released a pair of new solo singles, “If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead”, and “Don’t Miss It”.

Over the course of the last few years Blake has been known more for his collaborative work with other artists than his own solo projects. This year, he helped out on Travis Scott’s “STOP TRYING TO BE GOD”, as well as a few songs on TDE’s Black Panther: The Album, after working on Jay-Z’s 4:44 in 2017. Blake also just recently teased a new song with André 3000 that we all hope to hear in the near future. The pair released “Look Ma No Hands” this summer, so it is great to see that they have more on the way. Although it has now been close to three years since the last solo James Blake album, he has been involved in a plethora of interesting music nonetheless.
