Movement Detroit Announces 2019 Lineup Featuring Orbital, Danny Brown and Floorplan

Movement Detroit the electronic music festival will take place on May 25-27, 2019 at Hart Plaza in Detroit. Thousands of people from around the world gather to celebrate Detroit’s musical influence around techno.

The lineup includes artists such as Amelie Lens, Chris Lake, Danny Brown, DJ Bone, DJ Nobu, Floorplan, Heiko Laux, Hot Since 82, Orbital and Stephen Bodzin. Many more artists will be added to the festival. General admission prices start at $85.00 per day or $175.00 for the 3-day pass. VIP admission for one day starts at $139.00 with a 3 day pass going for $275.00. You can get the ultimate VIP Hotel package for $1,600.00

Movement Music Festival is one of the longest-running dance music events in the world, committed to showcasing authentic electronic music and providing an experience unlike any other. The festival takes place in Hart Plaza – Detroit’s legendary riverfront destination.

Kids 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket. They are allowed in the general festival grounds until dusk with a parent or guardian. The festival strongly encourages hearing protection.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
