Southern California rapper Anderson .Paak recently announced that he will be embarking on a world tour next winter. Andy’s Beach Club World Tour, as it is titled, will come to the Fillmore on February 24th of next year. The show follows his most recent project Oxnard which came out just about a month ago. Tickets are on sale now and going quickly so make sure to act fast.
Named after his hometown, Oxnard was Paak’s fifth studio album, and first since officially joining Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label. The two have worked together for years, with Dre signing him quickly after his Malibu release in January of 2016. Dr. Dre executive produced Oxnard as well handling production on three different songs and featuring on one. The album is an impressive release from Paak who accentuated the funk in his patented alternative r&b style.
