Following up from his initial firing from the classic rock icons Fleetwood Mac, ex-guitarist Lindsey Buckingham ended up suing his fellow bandmates during the aftermath of his departure. According to an article from Pitchfork, Buckingham and his bandmates have officially reached a settlement. Buckingham said that the bandmates signed off on the settlement over the past couple weeks but refrained from sharing any specifics about the agreement. “I’m happy enough with it,” is all that Lindsey Buckingham has said about the settlement so far.
Back in October Buckingham revealed that the band’s tour manager contacted him and told him that he was being let go from the tour lineup. In addition, no one in the band also mentioned the news to Buckingham prior to the firing.
For the time being the band is continuing the tour with Mike Campbell and Neil Finn. The band shared with their fans that their setlist will still include an array of their hits. The band ended their statement by bidding farewell to Buckingham and wishing him all the best.
