Lana Del Rey performed with Jack Antonoff at his Antonoff ‘s Ally Coalition benefit concert, performing what Rey described as “country songs,” according to Pitchfork. They debuted several songs, one reportedly being called “I Must Be Stupid for Being So Happy.” Watch the performance of one of the songs below.
Antonoff is producing Lana’s new album Norman Fucking Rockwell. It features tracks “Venice Bitch” and “Mariner’s Apartment Complex,” and will be released in 2019.
Created in collaboration with former Fun. bandmates and his sister Rachel Antonoff, the Ally Coalition mobilizes action in support of LGBTQ+ communities, according to Pitchfork. This year’s talent show included performances from Lana Del Rey, Mitski, Bleachers, Rostam, Regina Spektor, and Hayley Kiyoko, among others. The event occurred Dec. 5 at New York’s Town Hall, and proceeds from the event will benefit homeless LGBTQ+ youth centers.
