Hugh Jackman @ Wells Fargo Center 6/30

An interesting name has announced a World arena tour for next summer. Actor and showman Hugh Jackman will be embarking on the 34 date “The man. The music. The show.” tour that will be kicking off in Europe in May. The tour will make its way to Philadelphia on June 30, 2019 when Jackman is set to perform at the Wells Fargo Center.

Most likely known more for his acting, Hugh Jackman will make this his first ever music tour. That’s not to say the man isn’t talented musically as there is absolutely a reason that his first tour will be in large stadiums. He started performing on Broadway in 2003, and returned a few time throughout his career. In 2011, Jackman had a solo performance on Broadway for a few months that was highly regarded.

As far as the upcoming tour next year is concerned, Jackman has stated that there will be a mix of different music that he will perform. He will incorporate different aspects of his film The Greatest Showman which had a highly popular soundtrack, Les Misérables, and some of the Broadway productions that he has been a part of in the past. He has also stated that he will be writing original music for the tour, so it will certainly be intriguing to see what the man comes up with. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM, so be on the lookout to secure your’s.
