The Decemberists Shares Title Track Off Their Upcoming New EP Traveling On

The Indie Rock band from Portland, Oregon, The Decemberists have announced that they will be releasing a brand new EP, entitled Traveling On. The five-song EP will be available on December 14th here in the U.S and December 21st in the UK via Capitol. Loyal fans can purchase the record in variety of ways including 10″ vinyl, CD, and as a digital album in which you can stream anywhere. Traveling On is, according to a press release, “a collection of b-sides” that was recorded during the sessions for the band’s eighth studio album, I’ll Be Your Girl, back in March and produced by  John Congleton. Today, the band, along with the news of their new EP, has shared the title track off the record which you can listen and stream down below.

The new song is an upbeat tune that picks you up from the very beginning and takes you on a ride that any true fan would not one to end. The sound that makes up “Traveling On” sounds more like The Decemberists are known for, diving deeper into their indie folk blood creating music that is worthy of a listen.
