High On Fire Announces Winter 2019 North American Tour

High On Fire are making up for lost time on the road. After previously cancelling thier co-headlining tour with Munincipal Waste earlier this year, the band is back and in full force. The cancellation was due to High On Fire’s frontman Matt Pike’s toe. The rocker had to undergo a partial toe amputation and is currently healing his toe before the new tour. The tour is set to kick off January 10th in Atlanta, GA and will contiue to make its way across the U.S. including stops in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, St. Louis, Chicago, and Austin before concluding February 1st at the House of Blues in New Oreleans, LA. The tour is in support of their latest abum, Electric Messiah, which was released earlier this year. It’s follow up, which has yeat to be titled will possibly be releaed next year on Record Store Day.
The band is also set to play a set at the Psycho Festival located at The Mandalay Besort in Las Vegas, NV.Other bands schedule to play include Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Glassjaw, and Perturbator. The three-day music festival will take place from August 16-18, 2019 and will include four stages th the Mandalay Bay Events Center, the House of Blues, the Mandalay Bay Beach and the Rhythm & Riffs lounge.
