The Jesus & Mary Chain Announces Isobel Campbell As Special Guest During Select Shows Opening for Nine Inch Nails in Los Angeles

LA based Scottish singer/songwriter Isobel Campbell will join The Jesus and Mary Chain at their sold out shows with Nine Inch Nails at The Palladium Los Angeles on Dec. 11, 12, 14 and 15.

Isobel sang on the band’s 2017 album Damage and Joy, was previously in Belle & Sebastian, and most recently enjoyed critical acclaim for her trio of albums with Mark Lanegan. Isobel has just signed a new worldwide deal with Cooking Vinyl and will release her 8th solo album in 2019.

“Isobel’s proven again and again that she’s a serious songwriting talent,” William Reid of The Jesus and Mary Chain said. “As a singer too she brought something special to our album. Her voice an angelic counterpoint to Jim’s. He, the continually falling angel; she, the sweet cause of all the trouble. It’s fantastic that she’ll do it on stage with us.”

The current Mary Chain tour with Nine Inch Nails started in Phoenix on Sept. 13 and in the final lap cuts through Irving, Texas, Las Vegas and San Francisco in November and December, and finishing with run of six sold out nights in Los Angeles on Dec. 15. It shall have touched over 200,000 damaged and anxiety ridden music fans. Buy tickets here.
