Celtic-infused punk rock band Flogging Molly has announced the initial 2019 lineup for their annual Salty Dog Cruise. The four-day cruise is set to sail November 8th- 12th 2019 on the Royal Carribean’s Serenade of the Seas and will visit Fort Lauderdale, Key West, and Coco Kay. Flogging Molly are set to perform along with Dropkick Murphys, Frank Turner, Stiff Little Fingers, Hepcat, The Bronx, Pounded By The Surf, and Mariachi El Bronx, with more acts to be announced at a later date. Packages will go on sale Monday, November 19th with fans being able to purchase passes on the cruise’s website.
2019 will mark the cruises’ fifth year, with this year’s lineup including The Offspring, The Vandals, The Adolescents, Mad Caddies, and The Bunny Gang just to name a few. Past lineups have included NOFX, Rancid, Beans on Toast, Less than Jake and The Bouncing Souls. The cruise will also feature a skateboard ramp, six different bar experiences including a wine bar and an English pub. The cruise will also include on-shore excursions featuring Flamingo Gardens and Wildlife Sanctuary Park, pub crawls, parasailing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, dolphin watching, and helicopter, bike, and kayak tours.
This past summer, festival curators Flogging Molly and fellow festival performer Dropkick Murphys recently wrapped up their joint summer tour in Mesa, AZ. Dropkick Murphy’s will also be rocking out at the top of 2019 prior to the cruise. The band recently announced their St. Patrick’s Day Tour set to kick off February 17th in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Interrupters, The Devil Makes Three, Lenny Lashley’s Gang of One, Booze and Glory and Amigo the Devil will serve as openers for the tour.
