Huge news broke Friday when the Backstreet Boys released a variety of information regarding their rumored upcoming album. The new project will be titled DNA, and will be coming early next year on January 25, 2019. Thankfully, along with the album the group announced an extensive world tour including a stop in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center on August 19. Backstreet Boys are currently in the midst of a lengthy Las Vegas residency which started early 2017 and extends to next April.
Backstreet’s Friday didn’t end there however, as they also released the second single of the album, “Chances”. The song is written by pop star Shawn Mendes, and follows May’s “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”. The news of DNA is huge for Backstreet fans who have been clamoring for more music since In a World Like This which came out all the way back in 2013. It is also big as it marks just the second album since Kevin Richardson rejoined the group following six years away from the band. Fans have been waiting for DNA for what seems to be forever now, after AJ McLean announced that a project was in the works over four years ago. Fortunately, the wait is almost over and fans can secure their opportunity to see the band live when tickets go on sale this Wednesday November 14th, at 10:00 AM.
