American rock band Kiss has officially announced their farewell world tour. “The End of the Road” world tour as they are calling it will kick off in Canada celebrating the New Year, but does not have a scheduled end. The band has said that it will continue at least until 2020, with the possibility of it running for three years. However, they did also stress that they will not be visiting cities more than once, so if you are lucky enough to have them come by it will be the last time.
The good news for Philly fans is that they are confirmed to be in on the action. Kiss will be coming to the Wells Fargo Center next March 29th. Original members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, are of course guaranteed to be on the tour, but the band also hasn’t ruled out the possibility of more original members making appearances. Nothing is official yet, but there has been speculation of an Ace Frehley return.
The details we have thus far are enticing for any Kiss fans hoping to see their band one last time. The band has stated that they will be playing a variety of songs from all throughout their collection. They have also stated that the tour will move a bit more slowly than usual because of all the equipment that they have to transport, adding that it will be their most intricate theatrical performance yet. Coming from the band known for their on stage aura and pyrotechnics, that is a statement certain to get any Kiss fan more than ready for this farewell tour.
