Tom Odell @ TLA 4/19

British singer and songwriter Tom Odell is slated to perform at the Theatre of Living Arts next April 19th. The show is part of his Jubilee Road Tour, which is in support of the album of the same name that he released last Friday, October 26th. The 27 year old singer is currently going through his home country of England for the first part of the tour, before hitting over 25 different countries between November and next April.

Odell began to turn heads back in 2012, after being largely rejected by audiences and venues for the first couple years of his career. Nonetheless, the young kid who moved to London to get his start musically finally found his sound, but it was his live performances that really kick started his career. At one performance he caught the eye of Lily Allen, the founder of the record label In the Name Of, who said that his energy was reminiscent of David Bowie.

His debut album Long Way Down came in 2013 and instantly made a name for Odell not only in England but internationally as well. Odell continued that success not only with his 2016 album Wrong Crowd, and a handful of other projects but with his most recent release as well. Jubilee Road is one of Odell’s most honest works, which allows for his storytelling to be expressed with such weight. The album is a Tom Odell classic that upheld the standard he has set for himself over the last few years.
