Freddie Gibbs @ Voltage Lounge 11/24

Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs will be coming to the Voltage Lounge on his “Freddie” tour, in in support of his recent mixtape with the same name. The show will be on Saturday November, 24 at 8:00. Gibbs has a busy fall between the promotion of Freddie, which dropped in June, this tour, and the release of his and Curren$y’s collaboration on their Fetti mixtape which will come out this Halloween. Freddie’s career began over a decade ago, as 2000’s rap fans will remember his battles with Interscope Records, accumulating him and his debut album being dropped. It was this that led to him signing with Young Jeezy’s CTE Records.

Gibbs’ most iconic work came in 2012 when he released his Baby Face Killa mixtape. It was the success of this that led Gibbs to starting his own label, ESGN. On Freddie Gibbs starts off hot with “Weight”, and continues that energy throughout the mixtape. “FBC” is a banger that should be crazy to see live in concert. Between that and the release of the release Fetti which fans have been craving for and rumoring since Gibbs and Curren$y’s  2015 song of the same name. The tape will be produced for Alchemist, and is certainly an exciting project. Tickets for Freddie’s show are on sale now, so don’t hesitate.
