Euringer Shares New Song “Sailor In A Lifeboat” Featuring Gerard Way

Jimmy Euringer has released “Sailor In A Lifeboat,” a song that features his close friend, Gerard Way, former singer of the band My Chemical Romance. The song comes from Euringer’s upcoming solo album, which is self-titled Euringer. During their time together in the studio, the two of them were able to make the experience quick, easy and fun. Euringer stated “it was super fun working with him” when thinking back on the experience of recording the song. “Gerard would pop in, knock out the vocal perfect, then we would chill…” Euringer stated about the experience.

Gerard Way’s words about the experience were similar to Euringers, saying he was thrilled about the collaboration. Way would also reveal how impressed he was with the album, stating “the thing about this record that really blew me away is how experimental it is.”

When describing the song, Euringer stated “the meaning of the song is that I’m very comfortable being alon and being by myself.” The newest release can be listened to below.
