Cher @ Wells Fargo Center 4/20

Pop legend Cher is slated to stop by the Wells Fargo Center on April 20, 2019. The tour is for her upcoming album “Dancing Queen”, coming out next week on September 28th. Cher will be joined by Nile Rodgers & Chic, the American disco band prevalent in the 70s. The album, her 26th, is a tribute to the Swedish pop group ABBA, as all the songs are covers of their original work. The album was inspired by Cher’s recent work in the 2018 film Mamma Mia! Here We go Again.

This tour is Cher’s second since her famous Living Proof: The Farewell Tour. Although it is now obviously was not her last tour, it was incredibly successful, becoming one of the top 10 highest grossing tours of all time. This should be of no surprise from “the Goddess of Pop” who not only has had a storied career in music, but on stage and in film as well. Cher impressively is the only artist to have a number one charted single in every decade from the 60s to the present. This concert presents a unique opportunity to see one of the brightest stars in the history of American music, alongside disco giant Nile Rodgers, and the current members of Chic.
