Roberta Joni Mitchell is a Canadian musician that has created some of the most beautifully written pieces of music. She’s a music icon that continues to influence generations of new artists. In 1972 and 1974, she actually performed at the Dorothy Chandler Room, which was a memorable night to many fans. With huge efforts from The Music Center, Mitchell is back at Dorothy to celebrate the milestone of 75 great years on this planet. With nine Grammy Awards and 16 Grammy nominations under her belt, Mitchell has been devoting her life to music for nearly five decades. These are just a few reasons of  why Mitchell has been impactful on so many musicians.

The first day of the birthday celebration will consist of ongoing concerts throughout the evening. The second day is Mitchell’s actual birthday where there will be ongoing concerts as well as an exclusive birthday dinner celebration gala. If you are a fan of Mitchell then Joni 75 is definitely not an event to miss.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
