Thornville, Ohio has sadly lost two festival goers. According to Pitchfork, two men died this past weekend at the Lost Lands Festival, the festival confirmed on their Facebook page. Lost Lands shared their condolences with the full statement below. According to Pitchfork, the cause of both deaths is unknown.
“Today we send our deepest thoughts and condolences to the loved ones of two male attendees who passed away after being transported to local hospitals this weekend. While the causes of these tragedies are still unknown, our hearts are with their families and friends at this time. Our medical facilities are available twenty-four hours a day, free of charge, with the best emergency room doctors, EMTs and roaming paramedics in the country. A full staff of security and police are also available, and we encourage everyone to approach any of our 2000+ team members to ask for help if needed.”
The three-day EDM festival included sets from Flux Pavillion, Jauz, NGHTMRE, and Excision all weekend long. Excision curated the festival and is in its second year. It included Giant Fucking Dinosaurs, 1000 watts of bass two full main stages and the newly added Late Night Sound Camps, which provided new music by up and coming DJs and producers from all different genres, midwest locals, and surprise sets and B2Bs from the lineup.
