Sleep Announces Winter 2018 Tour Dates

The Metal power trio Sleep is planning on closing out the year by performing live with a string of dates, according to the PRP. The end of the year dates also includes three consecutive shows at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, California. The back to back dates will end the year on December 29th, 30th and 31st. Sleep posted on their Facebook announcing the trio of shows asking fans to “join us in closing out the year properly.” The Facebook post can be seen below.

Sleep, which hails from San Jose, California and includes current members Al Cisneros, Matt Pike, and Jason Roeder, are on the road this Winter to support their recent album, The Sciences. The album, the band’s fourth studio album and first since Dopesmoker back in 2003, hit stores back in April and was released via Third Man Records.

The upcoming winter dates will see Sleep embarking on a 9-date tour beginning December 5th in Atlanta and will continue up until New Year’s Eve. Some stops along the way include Richmond, Pittsburgh, Louisville, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas.

Earlier this month, Sleep joined Neurosis and Sleep’s guitarist Mike Pike’s other band High on Fire at this year’s Muddy Roots Festival in Cookeville, Tennesse.
