Singer-songwriters Sia and Dolly Parton have released a version of the song “Here I Am” for the Dumplin’ Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. According to Consequence of Sound, Dumplin’ is highly anticipated American musical comedy film about a plus-size teenager who is also an extremely big fan of Dolly Parton. The film takes its inspiration from the 2015 novel Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy and includes a soundtrack written and recorded by Dolly Parton.

Parton is well-known for her work in country music and has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. She has also been nominated for Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, and Emmy Awards– a feat that not many have been able to accomplish. Some of her most famous songs include “I Will Always Love You”, “Jolene”, and “9 to 5”.

Sia is an Australian musician that has built up strong following in more recent years. Her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, debuted at number 1 in the US Billboard 200 in 2014. In 2016, she accomplished her first number one single, “Cheap Thrills”, on the Hot 100 charts.

The two will excite country music and pop music fans alike as they give their rendition of “Here I Am” to a slow-paced show-tune melody. The lyrics are hopeful and provide a glimpse at a strong, loving bond between two people.
