Jimmy Eat World @ The Wiltern 9/15

American rock band Jimmy Eat World will be performing at The Wiltern on Sat. September 15th as part of their U.S. tour. They will be joined by fellow rock band The Hotelier on this evening. Tickets for the show will start at $35 depending on the seat chosen, with the show beginning at 7:00 PM.

Jimmy Eat World has been around for a while now and have remained as a known rock band. Their initial punk rock sound from the 90’s eventually developed into their current signature alternative rock sound. Their more popular track The Middle is a fan favorite and is what they’re commonly known for to the mainstream audience. The song is undoubtedly a hit that will always bring back memories of the early 2000s. The popular single eventually made it to number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was even featured in an Apple Music ad in 2016, which resulted in the 17 year old track reaching number 32 on the iTunes Top Songs chart. Following the release of their favored track, followed five more albums over the next several years. The band has managed to sustain a dedicated fan base and have been touring the world all throughout these years.

Fans are definitely in for a treat on this Saturday night. Thanks to KROQ, Jimmy Eat World will be rocking out at The Wiltern with support from The Hotelier. The widely known rock band will certainly conduct a performance to remember.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
