Reprise Records will be issuing a special, limited-edition, vinyl picture disk that contains all six songs that were recorded and released as part of the promotional events following the release of the new DC Comics graphic novel Dark Nights: Metal. As you may have been able to guess, the music contained on the picture disk is in the realm of heavy metal, featuring the likes of Alexis Krauss (Sleigh Bells), Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Chino Moreno (Deftones), and Maria Brink (In This Moment), among others. With exclusive artwork and limited to only 4,000 copies, the picture disk is sure to become a collector’s item in a very short period. The EP will also be accompanied by a poster and a 32-page comic book.
All six songs on the EP were recorded with Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Twenty-One Pilots, The Regrettes) and film composer and former Marilyn Manson guitarist Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 & 2, Deadpool). Each of the six songs has been well-received by the metal/rock community.
