Goblin loving death-metal band, Nekrogoblikon, have shared a video for their new single, “The Many Faces of Dr. Hubert Malbec,” reported ThePrp. The video was filmed by Anthony Gonzales and captures the band’s stage performances and backstage antics while on the road with this summer’s ‘Vans Warped Tour.’ “The Many Faces of Dr. Hubert Malbec” is off their latest album Welcome to Bonkers, released back in April. Eerie piano melodies and screeching vocals dominate the track with the occasional guitar solo peppered in. Watch the video below.
Also appearing in the video is Nekrogoblikon mascot, John Goblikon. After achieving internet fame from his appearance in Nekrogoblikon’s video for “No One Survives”, Goblikon became a permanent fixture in the band and earned his own internet talk show called ‘Right Now with John Goblikon’.
Nekrogoblikon is a death-metal band from California with a proclivity for goblins. Welcome to Bonkers is their fifth album, following 2015s Heavy Meta. Band members include Nicky Calonne (vocals, keyboards), Alex Alereza (guitars), Aaron Minich (keyboards), Aaron VanZutphen (bass) and Eric W. Brown (drums).
This year marked the final year for the full cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour. The tour ended last month in West Palm Beach, FL after a 24-year run.
