Mark Kozelek Announces New Collaborative Album With Mark Kozelek with Donny McCaslin and Jim White For March 2019 Release

Mark Kozelek just announced a new collaborative album with Donny McCaslin and Jim White. The album is due for a March 2019 release. The album was produced by Caldo Verde Records.

The album was recorded from February to August 2018 in Hyde Street Studios. Donny McCaslin showcases his talent on the horns while Jim White stepped up as the drummer. On the album, Kozelek masters the guitar, bass, and vocals.  

McCaslin is a prominent jazz saxophonist. He is adding this album to the dozens that he has done with other artists. He became a big name after playing with David Bowie. Bowie hired McCaslin and his ensemble to be his backing band for Bowie’s last album, Blackstar (2016).

Jim White, the collaboration king,  is drummer, songwriter and producer who hails from Australia. The instrumental rock drummer has played with various artists including PJ Harvey, Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile, The Blackeyed Susans and now Mark Kozelek. Below is the album’s cover art:
