Manchester Orchestra and The Front Bottoms have announced a co-headlining tour across the US that will span November and December. The tour kicks off with Manchester Orchestra’s annual Thanksgiving celebration, The Stuffing, in their hometown of Atlanta on November 21 and finishes in Lowell, Massachusetts on December 18. The 20-date tour also includes The Front Bottom’s annual Christmas/New Year’s Champagne Jam, happening on December 16 this year. It currently has a TBA location but typically takes place in the New York/New Jersey area. The tour includes a two-night engagement in New York City at Brooklyn Steel, with The Front Bottoms headlining the first night and Manchester Orchestra headlining the second night.
Alternative rockers, Manchester Orchestra, will tour after a successful summer making the festival rounds. The band kept busy with a stacked schedule, performing around the US at festivals like Shaky Knees, Boston Calling, Governors Ball, and Lollapalooza. The band released their fifth studio album in 2017, A Black Mile to the Surface, which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard chart for top album sales and number 6 on Alternative Albums. Joining Manchester Orchestra, the indie emo rockers, The Front Bottoms, who hail from New Jersey also embark on tour from a busy summer. The band was billed at local festivals as well as performed a handful of one-off shows throughout the US. Since signing to Fueled By Ramen in 2015, The Front Bottoms have produced their third and fourth studio albums, Back On Top and Going Grey. Most recently, the band has released an EP, Ann, which dropped in May.
The co-headlining tour comes to Brooklyn this December, the two-night engagement allowing fans a choice of headliner. Supporting acts for the tour are still TBA, but tickets are on sale now.
