Kurt Vile Shares New Music Video For “Loading Zones” Featuring Kevin Corrigan

Kurt Vile has dropped the music video for his new song “Loading Zones,” the first new music to surface from him since 2015. The video is directed by Drew Saracco, an ode  to his City of Brotherly Love, with somewhat absurd song lyrics, as Vile proclaims  “I PARK FOR FREE!” as he spends his day moving his car from one loading zone to another, hilariously evading parking tickets and irate meter maids played by Kevin Corrigan (Superbad, The Departed, Goodfellas) and Matt Korvette (frontman of Pissed Jeans). Try as they might, Corrigan and Korvette can’t nab him, whether by happenstance or pure luck. The rest of the video is a gorgeous travelogue of Philadephia, lovingly filmed as Vile cruises through the city. Check out the video for “Loading Zones” below.

Vile’s world tour is still scheduled to kick off on October 12th, with the North American leg to begin November 24th in Boston. The band has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket sold will go to support the work of the ACLU. The full list of tour dates can be found below.
