The Kings of the Beach are going out on tour with some kindred spirits. Consequence of Sound reports that San Diego punk band Wavves has announced a co-headlining tour with Brooklyn indie band Beach Fossils. According to the festival flyer, Wavves kick the tour off in their hometown playing the Made in San Diego Street Festival – an event that appears to be hosted by local brewery Ballast Point, though there’s no information on the festival online at this time.

The bands then link up to begin their tour in Albuquerque and trek east through Texas to the Atlantic coast. After several co-headlining dates, Wavves continues back across the northwest, with shows in Vancouver, Seattle and Denver.

According to a Tweet from Beach Fossils, they’ll be headlining the second night in DC, New Haven, the second night in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, the first night in Detroit and the final night in Chicago. Meanwhile, Wavves will headline the first night in DC, Asbury Park, Boston, the first night in Brooklyn, Lakewood, OH and the first night in Chicago. It’s unclear who will headline what night on the initial southwest leg of the tour or the second night in Detroit.

According to Wavves, there will be more dates announced. Fans in San Francisco and Los Angeles reached out to the band due to a lack of dates in those cities, to which they replied:
