Labrinth, Sia and Diplo have come together once more as the experimental group LSD, to release a new single “Thunderclouds.” “Thunderclouds” incorporates the best musical markers all of three artists, fusing them all together for a sound that is playful and addictive. The memorable song is currently featured in Samsung’s new television campaign.
LSD began as mutual admiration between artists and quickly grew into more after Labrinth and Sia, in the midst of a songwriting session, witnessed the musical potential of their combined talents. Diplo soon joined, completing the trifecta. The trio have previously released their debut track “Genius” followed by the song “Audio.”
In the meantime, Sia continued her collaboration streak by also pairing up with David Guetta for an epic martial-arts themed video for their ninja-laden single “Flames.” It was the pair’s first collaboration since releasing “Helium”earlier in the year. Diplo also added another collaboration to his growing roster, pairing up with MØ for the music video the ‘Sun In Our Eyes.’ Diplo appears in the David Helman-directed video on what appears to be a fishing trawler, with MØ, and a group of of other young people just hanging out as the sun sets.
LSD’s debut album will be released via RECORDS LLC./Columbia later this year. Details about the album have yet to be released.
