Evanescence Announce Live “Synthesis” Concert Video for October 2018 Release

Evanescence holds a special place in all of our angsty little hearts. And if you miss them as much as I do, then you will be just as excited. Evanescence, still touring, has announced the release of a live recording of the Synthesis tour. The live recording will be released via Eagle Vision on DVD, CD, Blu-Ray, and digital formats.

The show was recorded in late october last year during the bands incredible Synthesis Tour. The whole show was captured on 4K and was directed by P.R. Brown. The songs cover Evanescence’s 20-year history with the music industry as they reinvent their songs with beautifully full orchestra.

The show begins off minimalist and slow as Amy Lee, vocalist of Evanescence, plays one note that the orchestra takes and builds over in the most epic of Philip Glass styles. The orchestra takes those synthesized notes from the album and brings about gorgeous and golden new timbre and quality that would otherwise be un-achievable. If you cannot wait and are itching in your seat like me, then use this trailer to hold you over as well as the tracklisting for the live recording. Pre-order the album here.
