ZHU @ The Shrine 9/15

American musician and singer ZHU is scheduled to begin his Dune Tour at the beginning of next month. The commended artist will be performing two shows at The Shrine Auditorium on the 14th and 15th of September. The show on the 14th is unfortunately sold out, however, there are still tickets available for the show on the following night. Ticket prices range from $34.50 to $50.00, with doors opening at 8:00 PM and the show beginning at 9:00 PM. The show is strictly an 18 and over event.

While only being an active solo musician for four years, ZHU has quickly acquired admiration worldwide. The brilliant artist started off his career with a straight banger while questionably remaining anonymous. His first hit Moves Like Ms Jackson instantly blew up and left listeners wanting more. His personal decision to release this track anonymously also added to the hype of this mysterious virtuoso. Once he released his first EP featuring popular tune Faded, his career really took off. This was also around the same time that the artist began to slowly reveal his identity. Since then, ZHU has released several tracks and has had many notable performances that has left fans in awe.

The secretive musician is undoubtedly one of the most dazzling icons in the electronic music scene. His releases and performances continue to sound unlike anything else all while keeping a signature sound. ZHU’s music is certainly refreshing in comparison to the currently saturated electronic music market. It’s very hard to stand out nowadays, but ZHU makes it look easy. Make sure you catch the mysterious man at The Forum on Sat. September 15th.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
