In anticipation of his September 7 release of his latest album, Raise Vibration, Lenny Kravitz has announced the third leg of his 2018 world tour this fall. The legendary musician has spent the summer on a European tour in support of the album, following the releases of singles “It’s Enough” and “Low” which will both be featured on the LP. Raise Vibration is Kravitz’s eleventh studio album, adding to his massive discography that includes famous hits “Are You Gonna Go My Way” and “Fly Away.” Kravitz hits the United Palace Theatre in New York City this September on his eight-gig fall tour which begins in Atlanta and culminates in Los Angeles at The Palladium.
Of Raise Vibration, Kravitz opened up to Rolling Stone about the role writer’s block and uncertainty played leading up to the album’s creation. After his last world tour three years ago following his 2014 release Strut, Kravitz found himself facing an unknown future, not sure of where his music would go next. After rejecting suggestions of collaborating with popular producers and songwriters out of fear of being disingenuous to his music, Kravitz woke in the middle of the night to a song playing in his mind and rushed to his studio to record it. This turned into a night after night affair until the album started to take shape. He told Rolling Stone, “Once I started that process, the floodgates opened and it all started coming out me. I dreamt the whole record.” His new singles tease a chapter brimming with creativity and inspiration for Kravitz, delivering a dynamic blend of rock, blues, and funk.
Don’t miss Kravitz play songs from his new Raise Vibration as well as songs from his over 30 year spanning career on tour this fall. Tickets are on sale now.
