Woman is Sexually Assaulted During Foo Fighters Concert At Wrigley Field

A woman was sexually assaulted during a Foo Fighters concert that took place at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. According to Pitchfork, the police have said that a 23-year-old woman was groped by a man while standing in line for food at around 9:30 pm. Shortly after,  The man allegedly continued to follow the woman into a port-a-potty before she could lock the door, leading to him assaulting her. The man was described as white and in between his 40’s and 50’s. He was reported to be 5’9 with brown thinning hair and a possibly a receding hairline. No suspect is in custody and the port-a-potty was taken by police for evidence. Security footage is being reviewed by detectives.

The Foo Fighters will perform at the Wrigley Field again tonight with an increase in security, according to a spokesperson for the Chicago Cubs. The band’s two-night gig at the stadium is part of their summer tour, which kicked off at the beginning of this month. The tour is in support of their 2017 album Concrete And Gold and will continue making its trek across North America including Seattle, Vancouver, and their inaugural Cal Jam Festival in San Bernardino, CA October 5 and 6, before concluding October 18 in St. Paul, MN.
