Halestorm have released another single off their upcoming album, Vicious. According to the The PRP, “Do Not Disturb” is the third single released off their new album due out July 27th. Watch the video for “Do Not Disturb” below.
The song sounds like 80’s metal/rock and the video and lyrics leave little to the imagination. It’s easy to like the song and hard not to bang your head while listening to it, as Lzzy Hale sings about one-night stands in motel rooms with foreign partners. With throbbing drums and scorching guitars, the single changes tempo from slow and methodic to fast and frenzied and sounds unlike the two previously released singles. According to Blabbermouth, the inspiration for the song is a true story and like guitarist Joe Hottinger said, “It’s a good, dirty sex song.”
Halestorm hails from Pennsylvania and consists of siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale, Joe Hottinger and Josh Smith. They self-titled debut album was released in 2009. in 2013, the band won a Grammy Award for “Love Bites (So Do I)” off their second album The Strange Case Of… released in 2012.
Earlier this month, Halestorm premiered the singles “Black Vultures” and “Uncomfortable” from their upcoming fourth album, Vicious. Known for their non-stop touring, the band will begin their new tour on July 27, the same day the new album drops.
