The Octopus Project Announces Summer 2018 Tour Dates

Austin-based American indietronica four piece The Octopus Project have announced series of East Coast tour dates for this July.

The band has been having quite the busy 2018. Coming off the back of their 2017 record Memory Mirror and a deluxe reissue of the band’s third LP and “perennial fan favorite” Hello, Avalanche in January, the band has also toured across Europe just this past May.

More recently, however, the outfit, alongside Robert Pattinson (who plays the protagonist) and Russel Mael of Sparks, has been noted for contributing to the soundtrack of “Damsel,” a Western dramedy directed by David and Nathan Zellner. The New York Times writes “A marvelously weird score by the Octopus Project greases the more leisurely moments as predatory wildlife and mangy, milky-eyed pets flirt with the camera.”
