In a bid to really sell his very own Third Man Records’ Vault subscription service, guitarist extraordinaire Jack White will be releasing a vinyl-only live LP from the tour behind his acclaimed last album, Boarding House Reach.
Titled Live at Third Man Records ||| Nashville & Cass Corridor, the record will feature recordings from the two shows mentioned. One from the Blue Room performance in March at White’s label located in Nashville, and an April concert in Detroit’s Cass Corridor. The record is featured as a part of “Vault package Number 37”
The album is announced to be pressed on gorgeous blue-and-white vinyl, housed in a die-cut sleeve with “peep-in” artwork, both emblematic of White’s deep love and appreciation for the medium. It will be available for order until July 31. The package itself also includes the rocker’s logo flag and three of photographer David Swanson’s “glossy, 8×10 professionally shot photos.”
For those of you who cannot wait for this release, White has included with the announcement a single with a raucous live version of the Boarding House Reach cut “Corporation.” The album’s tracklist also features the instrumental “Battle Cry,” the recent single “Over and Over and Over” and a version of the White Stripes’ “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground.”
