Pop-punk duo Diet Cig have announced details for a fall tour of the Midwest and the South, including stops at the Audiotree Music Festival and the Pygmalion Music Festival. The 10-date tour will run through the middle of September. Since their formation in New York City four years ago, Diet Cig has taken the indie scene by storm with a series of strong releases such as Sleep Talk/ Dinner Date and Swear I’m Good at This.
The core of the duo’s anthemic sound are the powerful vocals and guitar playing of Alex Luciano and the snappy drumming of Noah Bowman, making them fit right in with the likes of Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy, two other female-fronted rock groups taking the indie scene by storm in recent years. Diet Cig have become known for their raucous live shows, and this short run of tour dates will be another chance for fans to catch the duo in an intimate setting before they become major headliners.
