Sun Kil Moon has just announced the release of their new album, This Is My Dinner. The San Franciscan band found inspiration while they were on their European tour in November. They recorded this new album in Copenhagen while the band was on the road.
The music for the album was done by the trio Tony Scherr, Ben Boye and Ramon Fermin. The lyrics were written primarily by front man, Mark Kozelek. On the album are the band’s own versions of popular songs like the AC/DC song, “Rock N’Roll Singer,” The Partridge Family’s “Come On Get Happy.” In a creative effort and as the last song of the album, the band has also decided to put John Connolly’s “Chapter 87 of He” to music.
The album, cover art featured below, will come out this November.
