Emma Ruth Rundle Announces New Album On Dark Horses For September 2018 Release and Shares New Song “Fever Dreams”

Emma Ruth Rundle, dubbed by Pitchfork “a songwriter testing the limits of her sound and redefining herself in the process” has just made an exciting announcement. After the release and settling of her 2016 album, Marked For Death, she has announced a new album and a worldwide tour.

On Dark Horses is her third release and she has already showcased the talent that she is bringing to the table with her first single from the album, “Fever Dreams.”

Written while in the quiet moments after two years of touring, Rundle’s ready to present On Dark Horses to the world. She has done it again with the ever forward moving motion and relentlessness in her songs that bring the listener to life. In this album, Rundle incorporates cinematic instrumentals to accent her expansive lyrics and narratives.

This album also includes some of Rundle’s most collaborative, complex, and anticipated compositions. Like any great artist, she needed the aid of other ears, hands, and talents to make her album the work of art that it is. Rundle looked to tour mates Dylan Nadon, Evan Patterson and Todd Cook to flesh out the guitar on the album.

Rundle’s On Dark Horses album includes:

  1. Fever Dreams
  2. Control
  3. Darkhorse
  4. Races
  5. Dead Set Eyes
  6. Light Song
  7. Apathy on the Indiana Border
  8. You Don’t Have To Cry

On Dark Horses is due out on September 14. Pre-orders are available here. On tour, she will also be joined by Jayle Jayle and Chelsea Wolfe. Below are Rundle’s tour dates:
