Paramore is heading home this fall. They are set to celebrate in their hometown of Nashville, TN on September 7th.
For one night only at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Paramore will headline the show and perform with friends as friends and family watch. This event is to celebrate Nashville, also lovingly known as Music City, and the incredible music, history and art that lives within that city.
Everyone knows that Nashville is most well-known for country music and talented, notable artists like Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and more. Paramore aims to bring to attention the other forms of music that Nashville has to offer. There at the concert, they will be joined by COIN, Bully, Canon Blue, Liza Anne and Nightingail.
Paramore made a statement about the event. Hayley Williams said, “We want to celebrate our hometown and the fast-growing, vibrant, wacky and wonderful alternative music and arts community of Nashville. We want to show you what our fine city has to offer outside of bachelorette parties and karaoke bars…Take it from a group of kids who grew up right here in this city—the new Nashville is definitely alright with us. We’re excited to give everyone a chance to experience Nashville the way we do.”
In addition to this home-going event, Paramore has released a visual project, “Caught In The Middle” which is part of their fifth studio album, After Laughter. The album is available now everywhere and includes other visual projects for singles from the album, “Hard Times,” “Told You So,” “Fake Happy” and “Rose Colored Boy.”
After Laughter is inspired by 1980s pop-rock with bright colors and upbeat rhythms. However, the lyrics are more stripped down and real in songs like “Fake Happy” and “Rose Colored Boy.”
