After releasing “Humility”and tracks “Lake Zurich”, “Sorcererz” and “Fire Flies”, Gorillaz have another treat for fans eagerly awaiting their new album — “Hollywood” is the latest and last track to be made available prior to the release of The Now Now. Recorded as demo in a West Hollywood hotel room while on tour last year, the track features special guest Jamie Principle and Snoop Dogg. Listen to the track “Hollywood” below.
Produced by Gorillaz, with James Ford and Remi Kabaka, The Now Now was recorded at Studio 13, London, and will be released June 29th on Warner Bros. Records.
Tickets are also now on sale for Gorillaz’ North American leg of The Now Now Tour, which kicks off October 8th in Toronto, and makes stops in Montreal, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Chicago. Following the final tour date, Demon Dayz will finally reach American shores this year for Demon Dayz LA, featuring Erykah Badu, The Internet, DRAM and more. The event will take place Saturday, October 20th at Pico Rivera Sports Arena & Grounds in Los Angeles.
