Autechre Announce NTS Sessions Box Set for August 2018 Release

In typical Autechre fashion, the UK based IDM/Ambient Experimental electronic duo have not been shy to release their music in the most uncomfortable fashion, knowing that fans will be more than willing to flock to their music regardless. This time, they have just announced that they will be releasing their four NTS Radio Sessions as a collective box set, come August 24.

The radio sessions started this past April, with the first of the four being broad cast on the 6th of the month. A livestream of the new material was broadcast on NTS radio, with a new live stream being released every week of the month. The sessions total up to 8 hours of material (quite the healthy haul for an Autechre fan).

The livestreamed sessions coincided with the announcement of live sets in Japan and Australia, including their first ever performance in Tasmania at the Dark Mofo Festival.

The box set is available to be preordered on the duo’s online AE_STORE, 12xLP set and a 8xCD set, along with various digital formats. The 12xLP box set has in-printed inner sleeves with foil block to each cover, and will be housed in a two-part rigid slipcase wrapped in printed offset stock with foil block to cover. the 8xCD set, similarly, has in-printed inner wallets with foil block to each cover, and will come in a similar (but smaller) rigid slipcase.
