Cardinal Copia and his ‘Nameless Ghouls’ of Sweedish metal band Ghost, couldn’t conjure up enough demons to steal drummer Jason Bowld, from Bullet For My Valentine.
In December of last year, Bullet For My Valentine officially announced the permanent departure of drummer Michael Moose Thomas and introduced his replacement, Jason Bowld. Thomas had taken time away from the band, in 2015, to be with his wife and new born daughter, and Bowld filled in during his absence. For nearly two years Bowld worked with BFMV both on the road and in the studio.
According to a Loudwire article, Bowld received an offer to join the band Ghost during the same week he was offered the permanent spot with BFMV. He turned down the offer as drummer for Ghost, choosing to stay on with BFMV stating that staying on “felt like a natural progression.”
Grammy award winners Ghost, recently announced tour dates in support of their newest album, Prequelle.
Bullet For My Valentine are slated to release their new album Gravity June 29, Bowlds first album with the group and the bands first with their new record label Search and Destroy.
