Nick Cave is an Australian musician, singer-songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer and actor. Cave’s music is known for its emotional intensity, variety of influences and lyrics centered on death, religion, love and violence. Cave was frontman of Birthday Party, formerly Boys Next Door, before the band broke up in 1983. After the break up of Birthday Party Cave formed Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
Cave is known for being front man of Nick Cave an the Bad Seeds. In 1996 the band released album Murder Ballads which featured a duet between Cave and Kylie Minogue, “Where the Wild Roses Grow” which is known as Cave’s most commercially successful single. 16 studio albums, the most recent being 2016’s Skeleton Tree.
According to mxdwn Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds announced a tour in North America and Latin America starting in October via trailer video. According to CoS Cave and Minogue have only performed the duet live a few times. The first time the song was performed live was close to the release of the song in 1995. The song was again performed as a duet in 2013 and most recently in London. Fans from the performance filmed the rare duet.
