Ministry, the American industrial metal band, has announced tour dates for Winter 2018. Opening up for them on the road are Carpenter Brut and IGORRR.
The French electronic musician, Carpenter Brut, will work the crowd with his synth wave music. IGORRR will also warm up with the crowd some death metal and EDM.
On the tour, Ministry will continue to promote and support their most recent album, AmeriKKKant. This critically acclaimed album is known for its politically charged unrestrained rage at the current state of America. The music is full of anger and frustration that many Americans can relate to in today’s society. This album incorporates many different vocal styles that showcase the depth of the band’s talent and the issues that they are bringing into conversation.
Ministry’s Al Jourgensen said of the upcoming tour, “I think the sets are going to work really well together. Looking forward to seeing the masses collapsing into a puddle of sweat by the end of the festivities.” The band is anticipating leaving fans with everything that they were hoping for.
AmeriKKKant comes after Ministry’s many other releases: Filth Pig, The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste, Psalm 69, From Beer to Eternity and more. This album was mostly produced by Ministry’s front man, Al Jourgensen. The band, formed in the early 80’s, has created their sound with elements of pop, punk, metal, synth, and dub. This band is hard to put into just one box.
Tickets are available Friday, June 8th on Ministry’s site. Check out one of their shows this upcoming November or December:
