During their set in Milwaukee, WI, Ghost was forced to cut their set short after an attendee suffered a medical emergency during their show at the Riverside Theater. According to the PRP, a witness confirmed the male fan collapsed in the pit during intermission at approximately 9:15 p.m. Following the fan’s collapse, CPR was administered, and the man was transported to the hospital.
Via the band’s social media account, other concert goers in attendance stated the collapsed man seemed unresponsive during CPR. It has since been confirmed the male concertgoer passed away from natural causes.
Ghost is currently in the midst of their arena tour, with shows still scheduled in St. Paul, MN on June 1, Los Angeles, CA on November 16 and Brooklyn, NY on December 15. The concert in Milwaukee was in celebration of the group’s new album, Prequelle, released today, June 1. Following the tragic incident, Ghost issued a statement, saying, “Tonight, in Milwaukee there was a medical emergency with one of our fans. We decided not to continue out of respect to him and his family. Ghost and all who work with us ask that you please send the family your thoughts, prayers and respect their privacy during this time.”
