DRINKS is formed in 2015 by members Cate Le Bon and White Fence’s Tim Presley. DRINKS recently released their second album Hippo Lite on April 20, 2018 on Drag City’s record label. DRINKS’ debut LP Hermits on Holiday was released on Presley’s Birth Records. The band announced three shows, on in New York and two in California.
According to mxdwn Hippo Lite is an album where both members where able to get in touch with their inner-self, feeling more in tune with themselves, their surroundings and each other. Each track on the album brings a new sound ranging from the croaking of frogs to the crying of babies. The band member’s work in their own solo careers and other band helped give Hippo Lite its interesting ideas and sounds.
