Crucialfest 8 Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Neurosis, Chelsea Wolfe and Russian Circles

With so many festivals continually being thrown out into the world, it is hard to keep track of which ones are good and which ones are okay. When you look at the lineups for each one, they tend to fall into the similar routine, using the same bands for each event. Not Crucialfest. The two-day weekend festival based in Utah stands out from the crowd.

Today, fans from Utah and all over can mark their calendars because Crucialfest recently announced its stellar lineup for their 2018 festival. The 8th annual event is set to occur on the weekend of September 28th through the 19th at the Utah State Fair Park. This year’s Crucialfest will be headlined by Neurosis, Pig Destroyer, Chelsea Wolfe, and Russian Circles.

Neurosis is an Oakland based metal band formed back in 1985. They recently announced that they are set to go on their North American tour starting in June. The band released their eleventh studio LP, Fires Within Fires back in September 2016. It is available now on CD, LP, cassette, and all digital platforms through the band’s Neurot Recordings.

Pig Destroyer is a grindcore band from Virginia, who have announced their 6th studio album, titled Head Cage, will hit stores this September through Relapse Records.

Chelsea Wolfe is a singer-songwriter from Northern California who has released five studio albums including her last one titled Hiss Spun which she released last year. Wolfe is also performing at this year’s Desert Daze festival in Lake Perris State Recreation Area in California during the weekend of October 12-14.

Other acts on the schedule to perform this year are the psychedelic rock band Earthless, Brooklyn rock band Mutoid Man as well as Street Sects, Royal Thunder, Black Tusk, Cult Leader, and Eagle Twin.
