According to loudwire Foo Fighters’ front man Dave Grohl is going to put together a 25 minute instrumental song. Grohl has composed, and played the song completely by himself. He plans on setting up the instruments in a studio that he owns in EastWest L.A. The instruments Grohl will be using are several drum kits, several guitars, bass, rhythm and lead in the all instrumental piece.
Multiple cameras will be recording the piece making the end product of the 25 minutes instrumental song seem as if six different Grohls are playing every note, on every single instrument, all the way through in one take. Grohl is not worried about the reaction to the all instrumental projection but instead is excited for the challenge of learning and playing all of the instruments. Grohl will be rejoining his Foo Fighter band mates in early June for a European tour.
According to mxdwn Foo Fighters have announced the line-up for the 2018 Cal Jam Festival. Performances for the festival include Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Garbage, Billy Idol and Greta Van Fleet.
