Industrial rock artist Raymond Watts has announced the newest effort from his industrial / electro-rock project, <PIG> , “Risen,” which releases June 8th . According to Watts, “These are my songs of ruin, redemption and resurrection … <PIG> is Risen.”
Watts formed <PIG> in 1988 in West Berlin. After writing and recording the first KMFDM releases with En Esch and Sascha Konietzko, and recruiting th help of sound engineers and producer Einstürzende Neubauten, Psychic TV, and Die Haut, <PIG> finally debuted with the single, “A Poke in the Eye.”
The album features 14 tracks , including several guest collaborations from notable artists Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson, Motionless In White), Ben Christo (The Sisters Of Mercy, Diamond Black), Z.Marr (Combichrist), En Esch (KMFDM) and Oumi Kapila (Filter).
