A year after it was projected, Guns N’ Roses’ 30th anniversary reissue of 1987’s Appetite For Destruction is arriving June 29th.The special album is a remastered and expanded Locked N’ Loaded Edition, a super deluxe edition box set with a total of 73 tracks (49 of which are unreleased) spread out across four CDs and seven 12-inch 180-gram LPs. The original album has been remastered f and will be presented across two LPs. Also included are 1986’s Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP, a second EP containing B-sides from that era, and 25 unreleased recordings from the band’s 1986 Sound City sessions and two unreleased tracks from their sessions with producer Mike Clink.
The box set will also includes seven 7-inches with all five original singles from the album, and a Blu-ray audio disc presenting newly mixed tracks from the original album, plus five bonus tracks mixed in 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray also includes four GN’R music videos that have been newly sync’d to both remastered stereo audio and new 5.1 surround sound mixes, plus a brand-new video for “It’s So Easy” that was shot in 1989 by the band but was newly restored for this package.
Last but not least, there is a 96-page handbound book with unreleased photos from Axl Rose’s personal collection, 12 new illustration lithos visualizing each song from Appetite For Destruction, and replica memorabilia from the era. View the tracklist for the special edition below.
